Hi, I have been wondering what to do with some of the gelli prints that I have when my order of this lovely stencil arrived from clarity. I thought she would look quite funky on this background, so I sponged some black gesso through. The paint squished under the stencil a bit though and I lost the definition. I was nearly going to bin it, when I had an idea to go round the stencil with a white gel pen. Love it! I think it looks better than it would have just black. Hope you like it too.

Gelli plate Sellotape!
Hi,
Thanks for checking out my blog, this card was made from some packing tape! I found this technique on the gelli plate YouTube site. It’s really easy to do. Just put some paints on the plate take some off in various patterns leaving some blank spaces. Put some strips of tape on and gently peel off. Then put some gilding flakes on the sticky that’s showing. Simple but effective.
First try at drawing! Scary Mary eh?

I’m trying to have a go at blogging the artwork that I make. Not sure how successful it will be but I’m willing to give it a go. I’m quite a good rambler when it comes to talking so I’ll have to be careful I don’t go on too much!
I’ll try and make it a bit prettier as I go on, but for now it will have to stay simple.
